Upon arrival at Cochin Airport/Railway Station, meet our tour representative and transfer to your hotel. Post breakfast, visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, also known as Vembanad Bird Sanctuary, home to a variety of resident and migratory birds including Siberian Stork, Cuckoo, Waterfowls, Teals, Egrets, Herons, Darters, Wild Ducks, Brahminy Kites, and Owls. In the morning, head to Kottayam and board a traditional houseboat to sail towards Alleppey, Kerala’s backwater hub, often referred to as the ‘Venice of the East’. The houseboat, known as Kettuvallam, is well-equipped with modern amenities. As you cruise on the tranquil backwaters, soak in the serene views of palm coconut groves, paddy fields, and spot colorful birds and local villagers at work. Enjoy an overnight backwater cruise.
Arrive in Alleppey in the morning, complete the check-out formalities, and disembark the houseboat. Drive to Kovalam, a beautiful beach town known for its peaceful ambiance. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Later, choose to visit the serene Kovalam Beach, a crescent-shaped beach divided into Hawa Beach, Lighthouse Beach, and Samudra Beach. In the morning, relax on the beautiful beach of Kovalam and then proceed towards Cape Comorin (Kanyakumari). This southern tip of the Cardamom Hills is a popular Hindu pilgrimage site with an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Visit the multi-colored sand beach and partake in leisure activities. Return to Kovalam for an overnight stay.
On the final day of your tour, transfer to Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram) for a morning sightseeing tour. Explore the largest and capital city of Kerala before heading to the airport for your onward journey.
